After pick up from your central Hanoi hotel, meet your guide and small group, and set out to discover Hanoi’s legendary street food scene.
Start in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, with a visit to the bustling Dong Xuan Market, the biggest of its kind in all of Vietnam. Soak up the atmosphere as you browse the stalls, mingle with the locals, and discover a myriad of regional delicacies, exotic fruits, and Vietnamese specialties. Stop nearby at some of the Old Quarter’s most popular street food haunts to sample snacks such as rice noodles, pillow cakes, dumplings, or sweet tofu soup.
Pause to admire the Bach Ma Temple and learn how the now-restored temple is the oldest temple in the city, dating back to 866, before continuing past the striking buildings of Ta Hien Street. Here, you’ll have chance to stop at one of the street stalls to enjoy a typical Vietnamese beer or dig into a steaming bowl of rice noodle soup.
Then sample some egg coffee, a sweet drink made with egg yolks, condensed milk, and coffee, before ending your tour with drop-off at your Hanoi hotel.
