Skip the box office line and head straight to Pier 41 to board your ferry. Choose to sit inside or outdoors to take in views during the roughly 30-minute ride to Sausalito or Tiburon.
Catch views of the Bay Bridge, Golden Gate Bridge, and Alcatraz while you cruise northward.
You have time to snag a drink or snack (own expense) before disembarking. After you disembark, you can catch any of the return ferries
running during your day of travel.
Browse Sausalito’s galleries and boutiques, or rent a kayak or bike to check out the town’s famous houseboats. Visit the concrete elephant sculptures at the entrance to Vina del Mar Park.
If you stop at Tiburon, check out Main Street, home to wine stores, antique shops, and galleries. Spend the day exploring the waterfront, Uplands Nature Preserve, or the Richardson Bay Audubon Center. You can also visit the local Railroad Museum or a restored redwood Gothic Church.
If you have a round-trip ticket, hop back on the ferry when you’re ready and finish the tour back at Fisherman’s Wharf.
