Stonemaking Experience in Vila Viçosa

Visit to the construction site workshop where the guide will show you the different machines and tools used in the work of the workshop; some works carried out by the construction site (stonework and sculpture) will also be shown.

The construction site master will demonstrate how to start making a piece in marble, explaining the various stages of its completion and visitors will have the opportunity to take the tools themselves and try to create something simple in marble.

This activity allows the participants to know in depth the environment of a construction site workshop.

The construction site master will present the different stages of the creative process as well as the different utensils and tools needed to complete the different stages.

Several examples of marble works will be shown and the master construction site will teach visitors how to carve the marble.

At the end, all participants will have the opportunity to try carving the marble.
