Make your way to the group’s meeting point in central London, and board an air-conditioned coach for the ride out of the city to Windsor.
While in Windsor, you’ll enjoy a walking tour of the town that lies on the Thames River. If you’ve upgraded your experience, skip the walking tour and head to Windsor Castle for a visit.
At Windsor Castle, you’ll arrive early enough to beat the often-large crowds, and embark immediately on a guided tour including St. George’s Chapel and the State Apartments. Ask any questions about the castle’s long history and the royal family before boarding the coach, now bound for Stonehenge.
Take in the countryside views on the way to the Salisbury Plain, where the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Stonehenge stands. Learn about the prehistoric structure’s possible origins and meanings.
Travel on to the medieval village of Lacock for a traditional pub lunch. In a historic eatery, dig into authentic English pub fare, refueling for the rest of your tour.
Next up is the city of Bath. Remain on board the coach for a tour of the city, including commentary from your guide on the Pulteney Bridge and the Royal Crescent. Then, disembark for a guided walking tour around Bath Abbey, the Roman Baths, and some of the city’s famous 18th-century buildings.
After a full day of sightseeing, you’ll be transported back to London for convenient drop-off.
Please note: The order of the visit may change and lunch may be replaced by supper.
