This morning we start traveling along Georgia’s famous Military Highway en-route visiting Ananuri Architectural Complex overlooking a water-reservoir .As deciduous forests remain far behind, we continue driving through alpine meadows capped by the snowy glaciers. We arrive in the town of Stepantsminda (Kazbegi)-the last town of Georgia at Georgian-Russian border. Here we take our private 4WD to drive to Gergeti Trinity church from were opens spectacular views of one of the highest glaciers in the Caucasus-Mt. Kazbegi (5047m) For lunch we take you to a local family to taste mountain style Khinkali and other delicacies.
