Our instruction is customized to all ages and skill levels. With our high-quality boards, reef shoes and rash-guard shirts, instruction and video-viewing in our luxury Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van, and best-in-class, professional guides, we provide the ultimate family package.

With our family lessons, you will enjoy the best stand up paddling experience Waikiki can offer! High-quality boards, rash guard shirts and best-in-class, professional guides combine to provide the ultimate bodyboarding experience. You'll find all the amenities including high-end swag and video/photo packages for purchase. Instruction can be customized to all ages, abilities, and skill levels. Safety is the top priority while our enthusiasm and constructive guidance helps teach students the essential aloha of stand up paddleboarding, preparing them for waters around the world.

2 person minimum. Family lessons require at least one child 12 or younger and one of their parents. Additional family members may be added.
If a student needs to be on the same board as the instructor then the child will need his/her own private instructor. Often children 6 and under may be on a tandem lesson, although if older kids feel uncomfortable in the ocean, then a tandem lesson helps them feel safer and is recommended for them as well.
These lessons are a ratio of 1 instructor for every 3/4 family members.
If any participants cannot swim please advise the staff ahead of time as a private lesson may be recommended.
If any participants have any medical conditions or injuries that we should be aware of please advise the staff ahead of time.
If you are prone to seasickness, you may want to take a remedy you are accustomed to using before the lesson (talk to your doctor for recommendations).

All of our written materials are also available in Spanish, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. With at least 24 hours notice, we will do our best to accommodate Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese speaking-instructors.
Please come prepared for the lesson by wearing your bathing suit, bringing a towel and making sure to apply sunscreen ahead of time.
