Hop aboard the 39-foot motorboat Santino and meet your captain before departing Simpson Bay. From April to October, the route usually circumnavigates St. Maarten, with plenty of stops along the way. When the winter winds pick up and create big seas on the island's north side, the boat mainly stays on the beaches of the west coast, including a snorkeling stop at Creole Rock. Other typical stops include Long Bay (Baie Longue), Pinel Island, and Tintamarre, where it's possible to swim with sea turtles.
You can bring along snacks and a picnic lunch, or stop in Grand Case to purchase food at traditional lolo shacks (own expense). Snorkel gear and bottled water are provided along with an open bar serving beer, sodas, rum punch, and fruit punch.
When your 6.5-hour island tour concludes, you'll be dropped off at the starting point.
Note: It is advised that you bring a Ziploc bag to keep your valuables dry. There is a small but practical marine toilet on board.
