Starting at the Plaza of the Pilgrims, where for centuries pilgrims have stopped here before entering the city, you will admire Our Lady of Refuge Church, which dates back to 1753. The narrator, a local Galician girl, will tell you about Ravachol, one of Pontevedra´s ancient carnival characters. Your tour will then lead you to one of the most important squares within the city walls, where for centuries blacksmiths worked. You will also see the Praza do Teucro, part of a well-traveled route of the Portuguese Camino de Santiago. Here you will discover a fountain of medieval origin. The tour will end as you visit the plaza that hosted medieval markets, the Praza da Pedrera.
