After pickup from your hotel in Reykjavik, you’ll board a climate-controlled vehicle and greet your private guide. During a brief discussion of your itinerary, suggest any sights you wish to see and your guide will do their best to incorporate them into the schedule.  Gaze at the frozen witchery of Iceland’s south coast, replete with snow-capped glaciers, crystal lakes and ancient volcanoes. Stop first at Seljalandsfoss waterfall and marvel at a thrilling display of nature force. Then, delve into Iceland’s folkloric history at the Folk Museum of Skógar before travelling to the start of your thrilling glacier hike. Don protective equipment, receive a detailed safety briefing and then follow your private guide on a guided walk of the Sólheimajökull glacier. Under the instruction of your expert guide, you’ll traverse crevasses, sink holes and ice ridges. Please note, an adventurous spirit is required for this part of the tour. Enjoy a well-deserved rest during the journey back to your Reykjavik hotel, where your tour concludes.
