South Coast and Glacier Snowmobiling Day Trip from Reykjavik

At either your centrally located Reykjavik hotel or the BSI Bus Terminal, you’ll greet your guide and board a climate-controlled vehicle destined for the Mýrdalsjökull glacier. During the drive, a unique tableau of Icelandic landscapes is visible from your window.

Disembark on arrival at the Mýrdalsjökull glacier and listen to a detailed snowmobile safety briefing. All protective equipment and clothing is provided to ensure you feel safe and secure at all times. Please note, snowmobiles can accommodate two people.

Once you feel confident, follow your guide to the summit of the glacier, from which you’ll enjoy panoramic vistas of south Iceland on a clear day. After ample time enjoying the views, return to your vehicle and proceed to the Skógar Folk Museum to delve into Iceland’s rich cultural history.

See, too, the Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls — two of Iceland’s most photographed natural landmarks — before concluding your tour at your original pickup point in Reykjavík.   

This exciting snowmobiling adventure takes you to the top of the spectacular Mýrdalsjökull glacier, where you will have a breathtaking view of South Iceland, one of the most scenic areas of the country.

There is no place where we can stop for lunch on this tour. Therefore you need to bring along a picnic lunch. We recommend to sit down for lunch before the ride and maybe have a light snack afterwards.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
