Pick up from the lodgings at 2:30 am and departure from Huaraz at 3.00 a.m. Approximately, heading north of Huaraz, arriving at Carhuaz, it deviates to enter the valley of Ulta - Olympic Point, reaching the Base at 4700 meters above sea level. After a brief stop to have breakfast, you leave for the summit of Mateo, passing through the moraine. This summit is 5150 meters high, from where you can have great panoramic view of the snowy peaks of the Cordillera Blanca, such as the Huascarán Sur, Chopicalqui, Contrahierbas, Ulta, among other snowfalls. Return to the Base, to take the transport that will take us to Huaraz.

Venture away from Huaraz and make your way to the beautiful Lake Paron, tucked away in the Andes Mountains. Drive through the changing terrain and reach heights of more than 13,500 feet (4,170 meters) to reach the glacial lake. Hike to the viewpoint for panoramic views of the lake and surrounding mountains before heading back to Huaraz.
