Snowshoe Tour at Chena Lakes

Gear up in layered clothing suitable for below-zero temperatures and make your way to the meeting point in the North Pole. You guide will fit you with snowshoes and hiking poles that will help you travel across the icy and snowy terrain. This tour is an activity the whole family will enjoy, as prior experience in snowshoeing is not necessary.

After a safety briefing, embark on a short hike to the Chena Lake Recreation Area. Walk into the forest onto frozen lakes and rivers, and learn from your guide about the local geology. With luck, you’ll even spot wildlife such as hares, foxes, moose, and birds.

Enjoy the quiet beauty of your surroundings, and after the tour, return to the office and warm up with hot beverages and snacks.
