Snowshoe Hike to Pauly's Point in Tahoe National Forest

Summary

On this adventure, we will be hiking with snowshoes, immersing ourselves in the forest on a homemade secluded winter trail. On this beginner/ Intermediate adventure, we head up the mountain 800' in elevation to one of our favorite views, Pauly's Point. Views of the world-renowned ski resorts, Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley are enjoyed as they nestle into the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Snacks, photo opportunities, and conversation of the history and surrounding area are enjoyed as we take a break enjoying the scenery. High snowy alpine meadows are meandered through as we head back down the mountain, completing a loop as we reach the end. Due to the seclusion, seeing another person is highly unlikely. So step off the beaten path and allow me to show you a true mountain outing you won’t surely forget.
