Head to the Leeward Marina at your chosen tour time; morning or afternoon tours are available to suit your vacation schedule. Alternatively, book a shuttle in advance from your Grace Bay hotel (extra cost).
Transfer to the tour boat and on the way out to the northern coast, get fitted properly for a mask, fins, and snorkel. This tour focuses on in-water time and visits three different spots on the barrier reef, with minimum travel time in between. At each spot, slip into the water with the snorkel guide, who provides fish identification information and lessons on coral reef ecology. The three stops allow you to see the full, diverse array of marine life on the island's barrier reef.
On the boat, dry off and stay hydrated with juice and water. Please note that only 100 percent biodegradable sunscreen is allowed on this tour.
