Small-Group Tour: Colosseum and Ancient Rome Experience

Summary Description

After meeting your guide, set off to discover the heart of ancient Rome. With a maximum of 12 people, this in-depth walking tour is the perfect way to discover the sights without the crowds.

Wander through the Roman Forum—among Europe’s most significant archaeological sites—with commentary guidance. Stroll down the Via Sacra (ancient Rome’s busiest street), see the altar where Julius Caesar was cremated, and admire other landmarks, like the Senate’s former home, the House of the Vestal Virgins, and the Arch of Septimius Severus. Next, visit the Palatine Hill, home to some of the city’s earliest settlements and later frequented by ancient Rome’s elite.

Admire the Arch of Constantine before heading to the Colosseum with skip-the-line privileges. Inside, learn about the gladiators who fought within its walls and explore this well-preserved Wonder of the World.

The tour ends upon arrival to your original departure point.
