Summary

This whirlwind tour of Florence kicks off in the morning. Meet your guide at a conveniently located starting point, and set off for the Accademia Gallery in the company of a small group. Skip the line and head straight to see Michelangelo’s 'David' and other works of art, learning about their history from your guide. Next, continue to Florence’s Duomo to admire its soaring dome designed by Brunelleschi, and then see Florence Baptistery and its immense bronze doors sculpted by Ghiberti. After strolling through the Piazza della Signoria, stop to enjoy a relaxing lunch (own expense). Then head to the Uffizi Gallery, among Europe’s most esteemed art museums.
