Fjord safari with unique innsight in norwegian aquacoulture by the Hardangerfjord.
RIB tour in between the steep mountainsides of the branch Fyksesund in the Hardangerfjord. On the way out of the branch we go ashore at Hardanger Aqua centre's salmon farm at Steinstø.
The tour start in Hardanger Aqua centre's digital display centre in Hardangerbadet, Øystese.
Afterwards the tour starts at the port of Hardangerfjord Hotel after dressing up and a brief review of safety.
The tour goes to the branch Fyksesund which is an adventurous beautiful fjord arm midway through the Hardangerfjord. The last 5 km of the 10 km long fjord goes between steep mountainsides with small and big waterfalls to the roadless old village Botnen at the end of the fjord.
On the way out again we go ashore to Hardanger Aqua centre’ s salmon farm where you hav a guided tour at the fish farm. Afterwards you get to taste smoked salmon from the Hardangerfjord accompanied by local apple drinks.
