Summary

Pick up time from your hotel is at 0545 After arrival at the Smalblaar River The day starts with a light breakfast at the starting point Everyone then makes and packs their sandwiches, changes into their wet gear as well as fitting helmets and harnesses. There is a short 15 minute walk of about 400m that we then take to get down to the waterfalls where we will spend the day.  There are 9 waterfalls ranging in height from 5 meters up to 45 meters, the larger 6 (15 – 45 meters) we abseil down, depending on water levels and group sizes, but you will be guaranteed of a minimum of 4 waterfall abseils. The other waterfalls provide us with scrambles and safety lines to descend.  There is a point of no return after the third waterfall abseil and thus this trip is not for the faint hearted as the larger waterfalls are 45m/ 35m/ 30m  The second waterfall provides us with a beautiful jump pool with voluntary jump options ranging from 2m/ 3m/ 6m/ 10m/ 12m/ 14m/ 15m/ 16m. Depending on group size (max 8) we could be back in the City by 1800 Please bring along a warm jacket This is a mind blowing test of your inner strength as well as your physical capability especially in winter.

This is an exclusive experience as we are the only company allowed to use this river which is located on a private Protea Farm. This cannot be found anywhere else in Cape Town and that is why this is absolutely unique.
