Disappointed
So unorganised and the staff didn’t know what to do about pick up and coaches
A must do day out if you are on the island.
A must do day out when staying on Majorca. We caught the bus to Palma with a short walk to the train station from the bus station. The train is an open wooden one with beautiful scenery to look at on the journey to Soller. Stepping out of the station the tram stop is there to take you down to the port through the town. There are many cafes and restaurants near the station and of course down in the port which has a St Tropez feel about it. We booked the last train back at 19:30 but we struggled to find enough to do at the port once we had eaten so had a long wait which we passed the time drinking in one of the bars in the top town square opposite the church. All in all a great day out in the sunshine with a little bit of adventure.
Not enough time in Soller, lots of time in transit.
Longish train ride to Soller, and we had to wait for quite awhile at the train station before boarding. Soller looks like a cute town, but we had 15 minutes there so really could only go to one shop and then had to head back. Tram ride to the port was fine, although a lot of us had to stand as there were no seats. Port is nice, and we got enough time there to walk around see things. Then we had to walk several blocks back to the bus to take us home. All in all, a lot of time in transit, and little time at the actual places.

It is fine, just making an observation regarding the prices of both the tram and the beach area.

I never leave bad reviews but this one was horrendous. Its sweltering hot out, we were a group of 6 with my 75 year old mother. First of all, they came 30 minutes earlier than planned and thankfully I was outside but they yelled at me when I tried to tell them they're early. They threatened to leave if I didn't get on within a minute so I scrambled everyone and thankfully we made it. After transferring to another bus in the Port (20 minutes later) bus #2 broke down which meant we stood outside in the sweltering heat for almost an hour. A tour that should have started at 930am ended up starting at 11am. Very disappointing, unorganized and not worth the money.
