Ski the Tasman Glacier! A classic kiwi experience, with 2 runs of NZ's longest runs on NZ's largest glacier! Transfers via ski plane for the ski runs! An Intro to back country and beginner/immediates are welcome, perfect for families. The ski runs are similar to blue runs, and you explore the beautiful glacier area of seracs and ice caves whilst looking directly at Aoraki MT COOK. Your guide, additional safety equipment and a gourmet hamper lunch is provided for. Group size is 6 people per guide. You are asked to bring your own ski gear (minimum of 90mm skis) and helmets are optional. If you do not have your own ski, you contact us prior to the trip to organise rentals. We offer a daily return flight from Queenstown at an additional price. Check in at 8.30am at the Aoraki MT COOK airport, finishing around 3.30-4pm

• The skiing terrain is ideal for intermediate skiers, exploring the ice caves/seracs on the glacier, and with wide/open runs

• Trip is open for Skiers and Boarders

• Side adventures include visits to the ice caves/natural ice features during the ski down

• minimum age of 10yrs, must have adult supervision and be confident skier

• Ski Guide included and safety equipment such as transceivers that will begiven om the day/training before flight (customers have to bring their own skis, boots, poles and helmets). We recommend a minimum of 90mm width underfoot skis. Customers can use our skis and poles at base, however we have a limited and mixed supply, and we do not have boots here. Customers to bring their sunglasses/goggles, sunscreen, warm clothing, and gloves.
