Why take this tour?

We love Sintra. Like, really LOVE it. But even we can admit It has one big problem. Once you start exploring this enchanting patch of the world, it’s almost impossible to stop, and we know a lot of you don’t have the time to spend days and days exploring every last forest track like we did as kids. Luckily, you still have time to see the star of the show, the so-called Disney palace that’s somehow even more breathtaking in real life than in photos: Pena Palace. Sintra is a magical, mysterious place to embrace with your whole heart – and they say the fastest way to a man’s heart is through the stomach. So, we just can’t let you leave without tasting the town’s traditional sweet “travesseiro” pastry and homemade “ginja” liqueur. This half-day journey finishes at 1.30pm. We can drop you in town with some lunch suggestions or back to the train station. If you have the time, combine this with our sunset tapas hike to a secret beach in the afternoon.

About operator:

Being born and raised here, we spent our childhood and teenage years getting into every nook and cranny of this beautiful place. In our escapades we tasted every food, saw every scenery and experienced all our culture has to offer. But like all great things in life, they're only great if you share the fun with others.
