What a unique...
What a unique experience!! We went at 8:30, one of the first groups to go for the day and it was phenomenal. There were only a few people in the water before us so the water was CRYSTAL clear! It was very cold, but they do warn you about this before you go. We had Steven and he was wonderful! Made sure we were all comfortable and knew what to expect, and he took lots of pictures of us as we went that got sent to us that night. One thing to note is that there are no locker facilities, they just give you a waterproof bag for your things that stays in the parking lot with the tour operator bussed, so don’t bring valuables with you. It took about 30 minutes to get us all geared up and do the safety briefing, and then we were in the water for around 45 minutes. There was time at the end if you wanted to explore around the lagoon some more, but most of us were too cold so we got out right away. No experience required, the current basically takes you the whole way like a lazy river, without even having to kick or swim.
