Make your way to the Plaza de San Miguel in central Madrid, where you’ll meet a guide and get fitted with an electric bike and helmet. Once you’re comfortable using the electric assist on your bicycle, follow the guide along narrow streets on your way to Calle Toledo and Plaza del Conde de Barajas, an atmospheric square with a cluster of artisan’s shops. Hop off your bike to explore the San Miguel Market, long a destination for local cooks and food lovers, then continue over the cobblestones towards Plaza Mayor, once the heart of life in the city. Ride through the Sabatini Gardens and Campo del Moro, and pedal an easy-going route along the Manzanares River to the Templo de Debrod, a rebuilt ancient Egyptian temple.
