Shore Excursion: Ride N Zip Adventure

Once your cruise ship docks in the Amber Cove Port, meet your guide and transportation outside the port gates. Climb into a vehicle and travel to a local ranch, where the zipline course and petting zoo are located.  Disembark and listen to a safety briefing before getting fitted for a helmet and harness. Clip in and follow your guide down 7,900 feet (2,408 meters) of galvanized steel cable, holding on to comfortable handlebars as you zip. No experience and no active breaking is required. Walk between the lines at your own pace, with instructors by your side, stopping to try local fruits fresh off the tree.  Begin your horseback riding excursion with some basic introductory instructions and a match with a horse suitable for your skill level. Spend some time abling through the Dominican countryside before finishing up with a home-cooked meal. Return to your cruise ship for drop-off at the end of your excursion.
