Excellent Guided Tour
We booked the tour with breakfast. We met our guide, Julio at the cafe & we were really pleased with the breakfast experience. We had fresh baked muffin with smashed tomato, iberico ham & olive oil. My friend is vegan so, no ham. It was simple but delicious. A coffee of choice, flat white, was really good. Julio explained about where the food was produced. Then we headed off to meet another couple. We spent a couple of hours visiting the main buildings in Old Seville & Julio gave us a history lesson on the ever changing face of Seville from the Romans, to the Moors to the Spanish. We visited the town hall, cathedral, Alcazar, tobacco factory (now University) & plaza de espana (visiting the outside of these buildings, not inside). Julio was so knowledgeable and put everything across in such an interesting way, he captured our attention. We felt at ease and could literally ask him anything and he had the answer. His lovely personality shone through and you could openly see how passionate Julio was about his Country. Thoroughly recommend Julio to show you the vital sights of Seville.
