Setouchi Islands Brompton Bicycle Tour

On this tour, you can explore the small islands of Setouchi making full use of the folding performance of the Brompton. You take a ferry from Takuma Port and cycle around Shishi Island and Awa Island.

Our charter boat is your seaborne taxi across the Seto Inland Sea. Awa Island is too big to walk around, but not so big that you need a road bike. The Brompton is just right. We’ll take you for a delicious lunch of fresh seafood in one of the stylish restaurants overlooking the sea. The Awashima Marine Museum is a great place to learn about the fascinating history of the Setouchi islands.

It only takes ten minutes to return to Takuma from Awa Island, so one option is to see the sunset from the popular Chichibu Beach with its amazing reflecting pool.

A course that runs from Shishima to Yeouido on a steamer that comes out from Sakuma Port. You can explore the small islands in Setouchi by taking full advantage of the folding performance. Move from Shijima to Yeouido by sea taxi! Run through the Seto Inland Sea with a chartered boat. Yeouido is hard to walk around, but it's not enough to bring a road bike, so it's a perfect island to go in Brompton. We recommend the stylish shop where you can enjoy a delicious seafood lunch with plenty of local ingredients facing the sea. There are also places to learn about the history of the Setouchi island, such as the Yeouido Marine Memorial Hall.

It is an option to watch the sunset at Parents' Beach, which is now a popular spot, just by moving 10 minutes after returning to Kashiwajima.
