I'll take you on a walk through Kibera, and you'll get an up-close look at the city's largest and most thriving informal settlement. We'll visit social impact activities that supports and trains young entrepreneurs within Kibera. As we walk through Kibera, you'll meet locals and see the growing arts and music scene, while discovering daily life. You will learn about Kibera's history, political and social struggles, and its role in greater Nairobi. You'll get a chance to experience the warmth, strength, and resiliency of Kibera's residents. At the end of the experience, we'll stop in a local shop for snacks. This tour lasts 3 hours and is appropriate for people who are capable of walking approximately 7 km. Please wear appropriate shoes as the terrain can be slippery at times.
