After meeting your guide at the designated location in Sedona, hop into your Jeep and begin your off-road tour. Let your guide take care of the difficult driving and get close views of local flora, such as prickly pear cacti and pinyon pine. Stop for photos if you see something you’re interested in.
Travel through canyons and past red rock butte formations, stopping at scenic points. Visit the 700-year-old Honanki Heritage Site, cliff dwellings where the the Sinagua people, Pueblo ancestors of the Hopi, once resided.
With the extended tour to Diamondback Gulch, descend into more arroyos and drive past Capitol Butte, Chimney Rock, Lizard Head, and Doe Mesa. Take the snaking Sidewinder Trail into Diamondback Gulch, and enjoy impressive views when you emerge on the other side.
