From Desaru Coast, a 45 minute drive along the coastline to Kampung Belukar Durian at Sedeli Kecil. Passing through Tanjung Balau and Tanjung Buloh Beaches.
The drive passes through secondary forests and areas cleared for farming. Birds can be spotted especially the Black-Shoulder Kites. The final 7 minutes of the drive passes through a local village. The location is extremely picturesque and allows for great photography.
Before the start of the journey by boat a short walk is done using the wetland boardwalk. This will be most educational as the Nature guide will identify the different species of mangroves, crabs, mudskippers, and birds.
The Sedili Wetlands provide a home for 42 true mangrove species. There are also huge clumps of Nypa palms. The long-tailed macaques are also seen in abundance. Partly relating to the source of food available in the mangroves.
