Secrets of Cork

Join us on a journey of discovery of some of the traditional industries of the inland.Free pick up from the accomodation heading to the area of Loulé where guests can visit the local market (situated near the historical center) and also a taste of the best traditional cakes made out of carob.

From here the tour goes to S.Brás de Alportel where we visit:

Traditional cork factory: Learn more about the process involved in preparing and packing the cork. Discover this innovating factory and all the processes to make this item so special.. Visit the beautiful landscape of the surroundings of S. Brás; Free time for lunch (optional) ;Loulé Museum is also a visit : Visit the historical sites in the fortress; Go into our history and traditions.. Learn about the skills of working with cork from the tree to the finished product.

Tour goes from 09h00 til 15h30 +- . Lunch is not included in the price.
