Why take this tour?
Seaside Stories are stories of our guide and her family. She is the third generation of a small sized shipyard at Shau Kei Wan, currently one of a few old shipyards repairs small fishermen’s junk boats. After a brief small junk boat ride and Ancient temple visit, guests will visit to her shipyard. It's also a glimpse of history and development of Hong Kong junk boat building industry. Following the shipyard visit, guests will be taken to the former Lyemun Barracks for the stories of the three declared monuments. Guests will be treated with a drink and a very special homemade appetizer inside the heritage building converted restaurant. This is a Hong Kong Tourism Board "Explore Hong Kong Tours" Approved Product. Attention: Due to the special condition for the heritage park tickets, the tour must be reserved at least 10 days before the event date, and confirmation will be issued 7 days before the event date.
