Kick off your night out with a narrated drive of historic Old Montreal, where you will enjoy the rich history and take some pictures of some of the oldest buildings in the area, including the beautiful gothic-revival Notre Dame Basilica. The cobblestone streets and rich architecture will have you reaching for your camera for some great night time shots including a stop to capture the Basilica lights. 

Next, experience the best view of the dazzling skyline at the Port of Montreal Tower, a 65 meter glass tower on the bank of the St. Lawrence River.  After the tower, you will take a ride on La Grande Roue - the highest observation wheel in Canada! Admire this breathtaking panoramic night time view from 60 meters high in the comfort of a temperature controlled cabin offering a picturesque view of Old Montreal on the banks of the St. Lawrence River in Old Port Montreal. 

Finally, we journey from the base of Mont Royal all the way to the top! Along the way you will pass multiple points of interest lit up at night such as; the Golden Square Mile - this bustling neighborhood is known for its Victorian-era architecture, you will also pass Notre Dame des Neiges cemetery - the largest cemetery in Canada. Once you reach the top you will be taken to the very best view of the city illuminated at night at the Mont Royal Lookout where you will get a bird's eye, panoramic view of the entire dazzling city of Montreal including the Saint Lawrence River and the surrounding Appalachian mountain region.

Things to know

Before you book

  • From June-August we cannot pick up in Old Montreal and will direct you to a central meeting location instead

  • The order of events in the itinerary will change throughout the season. The description describes the July/August version of the itinerary. In the Spring and Fall the visit to Mont Royal will come before the Aura show.

  • Start times will vary from Summer to Spring/Fall. In July/August the tour will start at 7:30pm, in May/June/September/October the tour will start at 4:30pm.

  • Exact length of tour may vary based on traffic, seasonality, etc.

Before you go

  • Comfortable footwear recommended/dress according to the weather

  • Pick up time will be confirmed 1-3 days prior to the tour date via email or phone. If you do not have access to these, please be ready 30 minutes prior to tour start time in the hotel lobby.

Cancellation Policy

    Full refunds will be offered for cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to departure time. For cancellations made with less than 24 hours to departure time, a $50 cancellation fee per guest will apply.
