Start with hotel pickup and transfer to Ayers Rock airport.
Meet your pilot and board your fixed wing plane; every seat has clear views. From Ayers Rock airport, fly over the northern and western faces of Uluru (Ayers Rock) and Kata Tjuta (The Olgas).
Continue to Lake Amadeus and soak in closer views as your pilot makes a low level pass over the surface of the lake so that you can see the patterns and colors of the 112-mile (180-kilometer) lake.
Appreciate the vastness of the Australian outback as you approach the George Gill Range and the opening of Kings Canyon. Soar over the Canyon to see features like the Lost City and the Garden of Eden waterhole.
Land at Kings Creek Station, a working camel station, and get close to some of their tame camels in the station house. Have time to purchase lunch or snacks there as well. Next, walk through Kings Canyon along the creek bed, passing ghost gums and looking for wildlife.
Return from Kings Canyon to the airstrip, passing over the eastern end of Lake Amadeus where the lake shows some of its most vibrant colors. Your tour ends after six hours with return to your hotel.
