After hotel pickup in Punta Cana, head to the marina in Cap Cana, an exclusive district surrounded by a village of upscale restaurants and chic boutiques. At the pier, board a spacious double-deck catamaran for your 2.5-hour snorkel tour. Your crew introduces you to the amenities on board, including an open bar of alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks.
Sip a cocktail as you set sail along the coastline. Gaze at Cap Cana’s pristine beaches and rugged cliffs, considered among the best spots in the world for fishing and deep-water diving.
When your captain anchors at a location near a coral reef, slip on your snorkel gear and hop into the warm blue waters. You won’t wait long before you see fish; they’ll scurry right up to your hand looking for food.
After about 30 minutes in the water, climb back aboard your catamaran for a party on the boat. Warm up with a shot of mamajuana, a traditional concoction of rum, red wine and honey, and jump into an impromptu dance lesson from your crew.
