Sapanca Lake & Masukiye Day Trip

Tourist trap, you waste an entire day going from one place to another where they want you to spend your money. The harnesses on the first zip line stop were wrapped in tape. No helmet. Chicken in my lunch was burnt. Aquarium is underwhelming.

The description said we were going to be picked up our hotel… But then they told us they couldn't pick us a better hotel because we weren't in the main place and we needed to go to a hotel at 7:30 in the morning… We got there at 7:30 in the morning to make five hotel stops that took an hour and a half as we sat on the bus. Why didn't they tell us to go to the last hotel instead of the first hotel Then the tour was not as described… We thought it was going to be a relaxing day on a lake and visiting a waterfall. Instead we retract too many many tourist spots, which were interesting but four of them were not included in the price and it became very pricey to the tune of $50 a person First we went to a theme park where we had a choice of an aquarium or a Tiger zoo which cost an additional $20 then we were trek to a cable car which was lovely, but it was an additional $20 20. Then we were zipped off to a zip line which cost another six dollars or so… Then we were brought to a rented place where we could rent a jeep and explore the sites of Stefan Lake for another $20… None of these things were included in the price so it ended up being a very pricey day. Lunch was included in very lovely And the entire tour with us getting up at 7:30 to 15 hours which was way too long. Well I had a good time. I think they need to describe this tour better and either include more things or alert us to know that it's going to cost us another 50 bucks by the time we were done. I would recommend it but they need to change the description and do better on picking people up at their hotel and not wasting our time

The tour was absolutely wonderful. Everything was easy, smooth, and not tiring at all. We enjoyed many activities throughout the day, and all the places we visited were beautiful. Mr. Mohammed was very helpful and explained everything clearly and professionally. He was always willing to assist and often offered help even before being asked. The bus driver was also very kind, friendly, and always smiling, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you for such a memorable and well-organized trip.

I chose the wrong tour. I wanted to escape busy Istanbul and see some nature. This 12.5 hour day trip would be perfect for families with kids who want action based fun (think theme parks). I had hoped we would see more natural beautiful scenery also but we only spent an hour including lunch at the lake. The activities all cost extra so take that into consideration. Take snacks too. We didn’t get lunch until 4 pm. If you are an animal lover, DO NOT visit the lion park. The organisation and tour guide were great.
