Santa Ynez Valley Wine by Bike Tour

After pickup from your hotel, set out in the morning by luxury van to the Santa Ynez Valley. On arrival, the winery staff will offer a selection of wines by the glass or bottle while your guide prepares your cycling equipment. Once you're fitted with a comfortable bicycle, you'll pedal to the second winery & enjoy a delicious lunch*. You'll pass by beautiful ranches & other points of interest, such as Summerset Farm & Dale's Nursery & the quaint town of Ballard. Cold beverages & water are provided throughout the day.

Our two most frequented favorites on this bike tour are The Brander Vineyard & Rideau Vineyard. Each establishment offers vintages & award-winning selections. You'll gain insight into specific blends & selections from the winery staff, including managers & winemakers who may appear at private tours.

*Lunch is not included on Saturdays or Sundays due to winery restrictions on weekends. There will be lunch options available for purchase at the wineries.

Our wine bike tours require a minimum of 4 participants to run. You will be emailed with options if you have less than 4 people in your party.

Departure and arrival times are flexible, depending on your location & other pick-ups that day, but generally range from 10:00am to 10:45am. Pick-up times will be confirmed via phone or email the day prior. We are usually done by 3 or 4pm, heading back to town and returning by 5pm.
If you do not require hotel pick-up, or are not staying in in Santa Barbara or Santa Ynez, you may meet the shuttle at the Santa Barbara Visitor's Center, 1 Garden Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101
If meeting at the Visitor's center, the parking lot is immediately behind the Visitor Center building.
