Sanjay Colony in south Delhi is a slum cluster spread over roughly 25 acres of land. In the shadow of the Capital’s tourist landmark Lotus Temple, approximately 50,000 people live in semi-pucca houses stacked haphazardly. Around 45% Delhi’s population live in slum, spend couple of hours walking around small-scale business and visiting at a small temple, a school and residential areas. Learn about the working and residential challenging life and how they all together make strong community.
Family Lunch: Towards the end of the tour, we will walk to the family home of the vegetarian lunch and will get the chance to interact with the local family. We will have meal in local way of people eat lunch like sitting on the floor or table.
At the end of the tour you will visit an NGO, who is working to support the underprivileged people to bring the positive change in the community.
