Eat your way through San Telmo
It’s a lovely walk through one of Buenos Aires’ oldest neighborhoods. The food is exceptional and also the stories that went with it. Our guide, Lu, was really personable and very welcoming. Really recommend.
No Regrets
Ths was a really good tour. I think we visited 6 places, including stops for dulce de leche and ice cream towards the end. We learned a lot about food in the area as well as customs and history. Mays is an excellent guide. Apparently she l ads half of all food tours in Buenos Aires as She think it was the third time she has been my guide over several visits.

Our guide Lu was fantastic. Not only did we get to taste a variety of different local favorites, she described the neighborhood, the historical references for the different foods with personal stories interspersed. Definitely recommend this tour!

Great Food, Great Vibes, Great Tour!
Lu is an incredible guide! Her passion, deep historic knowledge, and humor made exploring San Telmo an absolute blast. The walk was very reasonable and easy to follow, making for a relaxed and delicious outing. Easily transitioned between Spanish and English with ease and made every guest very comfortable and welcomed. The food selections were outstanding—chorizo stew, tortilla de papas, empanadas, dulce de leche, and gelato! Lu’s insights made it so easy to fall in love with Argentine street food, and her personal recommendations for other local spots were pure gold. Highly recommend! A must do in Buenos Aires, Argentina!
