San Juan Del Sur Shore Excursion: Granada Colonial City and 365 Islets

When booking, let the tour company know when your ship docks; the tour departure will coincide with your ship's arrival. Meet your guide and transport outside the Port of San Juan del Sur gates, after which you will depart for the colonial city of Granada. 

Founded by Hernández de Cordoba in 1524, Granada is the oldest city in the Americas' western hemisphere. With your guide in the lead, visit the Casa de los Tres Mundos cultural center, as well as the Museum of San Francisco convent. Stroll through the streets lined with colorful colonial architecture and churches. 

Embark on a boat tour in Lake Nicaragua to see the area's 365 famous isletas, some privately owned and occupied by homes, and some uninhabited. Return to shore and get transport back to San Juan del Sur in time to catch your departing ship.
