Why travel in the same car you drive at home when you can visit Jaipur in a colorful, safe autorickshaw that you’ll remember forever. If you prefer, we can use my cab, but either way we’ll visit places in and around Jaipur that I know so well and love. You will, too. All tours are private and fully customized, so no two tours are the same. Do you like animals? If so, I can bring you to a really special place to have a lovely time with amazing creatures such as monkeys or elephants in beautiful, peaceful country settings. We can visit nature reserves together to see tigers, camels and all sorts of wild birds. Are you a history buff? Well you’ve come to the right place. Jaipur is thousands of years old with magical, historic and cultural palaces, forts, temples and bazaars, including the Amber Fort, the Palace of the Winds, Jantar Mantar historic observatory, the Lake Palace, the Step Well and the Monkey Temple, where you can feed real, friendly monkeys. There’s also the magnificent mountains surrounding Jaipur and the lovely Sagar Lake. Jaipur is known as a shopper’s paradise and I can escort you to old markets to wander through colorful stalls, introduce you to merchants at some of my favorite addresses or, if you prefer, just leave you to make your own way through the treasures of my town – jewelry and gemstones that are famed the world over, silks and woodblock print cottons exported throughout India and beyond, elegant blue pottery and carpets of every color and style. Finally, to fuel all this activity we have to eat, and I can introduce you to places that are part of why Jaipur is known for its amazing food. We can take chai on a rooftop terrace, eat Biriyani from a healthy street vendor or dine in places you’d be unlikely to find on your own but will never forget. Will you join me in Jaipur?
