Head to the Revere Bell in front of the Salem Visitor Center, where the tour begins. Set off on a light walking tour of the historic town center with a guide who is also a historian and paranormal investigator.
Your guide will quickly delve into the history of the 17th-century Salem witch trials. Stop at Old Burying Point Cemetery, where you’ll find a witch trial judge's tombstone. Then, learn about the story of the slave Tituba, who was accused of practicing voodoo.
Later, visit the Witch Dungeon to hunt for specters. The guide will help you search any photos you take for evidence of paranormal activity, such as orbs, apparitions, and ectoplasm. See, too, photos taken at some of Salem’s most haunted sites, and learn about how ghost hunters do their work.
The tour takes a horror-story turn with New England vampire folklore and documented cases of blood-drinking, before finishing up back at the Revere Bell.
