In the late morning, make your way to Lisbon’s sleek marina and look out for a yacht emblazoned with ‘Sailing with Nigel’. Here, you’ll greet your skipper and board a modern, spacious yacht. Champagne is served as you glide beneath the iconic 25th of April Bridge and your guide provides history- and culture-rich commentary about Lisbon.
Opt to learn to sail the yacht during your voyage, or simply bask on deck in the Portuguese sun. Sate your appetite with homemade salmon and goats cheese pasties and the drop anchor at the picturesque fishing village of Seixal.
Stroll along the waterside promenade and select one of many inviting seafood restaurants in which to purchase lunch. After enjoying an alfresco lunch, you’ll return to the yacht and sail towards Cristo Rei, a dramatic statue based on Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro. See, too, Belem Tower and sip free-flowing champagne and beer while listening to songs on a Bluetooth speaker system.
Your tour concludes, after six hours of sailing, back at the marina.
