Saigon walking tour

Walking in beaten track areas that helps you have more insights of locally daily life of Vietnamese people, it’s very much different from what you’ve seen on main streets in city centre. Saigonese people have lived in those areas for decades, their houses have been passed from generation to generation, you’ll see an ancestor alter at such very small house. Community ties are very strong in these alleys where most people know one others very well as a slogan said neighbor is closer than far relative. You have chances to talk with local people about their daily life. And this helps you understand partly about Saigon history during 1960s, especially Tet Offensive 1968
