The tour starts right by the basilica, where your guide points out what work remains to be finished before you skip the line and head inside. Moving between columns designed like trees, your guide explains how Gaudí drew his style from religious, natural, and Catalonian influences. Look up at the stained-glass windows, angled to cast warm red and orange light through the Passion facade side in the morning and cooler blues and greens through the Nativity facade side by afternoon.
You'll learn about Gaudí's own life story: how he rose from humble beginnings to the top of Barcelona society, then withdrew from public life entirely to spend his final years building this basilica, up until a death that nearly went unnoticed by the world.
With tower access included, take an elevator up one of the basilica's spires for a close-up look at the mosaic-covered pinnacles, spires and a sweeping panoramic view over Barcelona's rooftops that most visitors never see from this angle. You'll descend by the tower's spiral staircase, a narrow, historic route built into the structure itself.

- Unfortunately due to the nature of this tour it is not suitable for guests with mobility impairments or with wheelchairs, or strollers.
- Due to the religious nature of Sagrada Familia, all individuals regardless of gender must cover their shoulders and knees. You can bring extra covering (scarves, etc.) to put on just before entering. Walks cannot be held responsible for those denied entry.
- All guests (including children) must bring ID on the day of their tour. This is especially important when booking reduced tickets (such as child tickets 2-10 years old) as Sagrada Familia often asks for ID as proof of age.
- Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.
- This is a walking tour. Guests should be able to walk at a moderate pace without difficulty.
- All guests, including infants, are required to book a ticket to enter Sagrada Familia. Infants (0–1 year old) can enter free of charge but must be included at the time of booking and counted in the total group headcount.
