The itinerary continues throughout the Sacromonte area. This word means sacred hill and this neighbourhood's Abbey has played a very important role in the history of Granada and Spain. You will see its cloister, church, catacombs and cave chapels as you find out more about its very interesting religious history while contemplating the priceless sculptures, paintings and relics kept in its museum, such us the Lead Books of Sacromonte, their Goya painting or their Averroes manuscript. After visiting this area, the tour will continue through the historical Arabic neighbourhood, the Albaicin. Here you will make stops in several viewpoints where you will have the chance to enjoy the beautiful countryside sights.
