Board the seaplane and experience the exhilarating thrill of taking off from the water and seeing Western Australia's capital city from a low level aerial view (views only witnessed from within a seaplane). After tracking down the Swan River, past Fremantle and over Cottesloe beach, you will proceed to fly a full figure of 8 over Rottnest Island seeing all of the secluded bays, beaches and coves from above.

After a full orbit of the island, the amphibious seaplane will touch down on the island's runway where you will disembark the aircraft. Adventure awaits, and you now have time at leisure to enjoy our favourite little island of paradise. With the flexibility of multiple flight departure times and ferry return times, you can choose exactly how you want your Rottnest Island experience to unfold. For same day tour guests, you can expect to depart for Rottnest Island at 9am and return on the 5pm ferry (arriving by 6:30pm at Barrack Street / Elizabeth Quay).

Departing by seaplane in the morning, not only will you enjoy a scenic flight over Perth city but you will reach the island in the short time of 20 minutes, as opposed to 1 hour and 45 minutes by ferry. This means you have extra time to explore the island after seeing it all from above. The flight to Rottnest Island is like any other airline flight. You will do a full orbit of both Perth city and Rottnest Island to ensure you see as much as possible while reaching the island in record time.

With the flexibility to choose your itinerary on the ground, you can select many optional extras such as a skydive, a segway tour and even hire a bike for the day. After an enjoyable day on the island, your return is by ferry which includes a scenic cruise up the Swan River.

On Rottnest Island, in the event of high wind above our seaplane takeoff and landing crosswind limit, an alternative flight from Rottnest Island to Jandakot Airport will be arranged. It is common for Rottnest Island to experience unfavourable winds in the afternoon. As the flight component of the product is in the morning, it is rare that the wind will be over the limit in the morning
Weight restrictions mean we cannot take passengers over 120kg. You will be weighed prior to boarding the seaplane.
