Your tour begins with pickup from your central Cádiz hotel by private vehicle. Soak up the scenery on the journey as you head inland and wind through the dramatic mountain peaks of the Sierra de Grazalema natural park.
Arrive in Ronda around midday and after taking photos of its striking setting, follow your guide on a walking tour of the town. Walk the historic bridge that connects the old and new town, passing over the 500-foot (150-meter) deep Tajo del Ronda; hear about the town’s strategic role in the Catholic reconquest of Al Andalus; and discover its long-standing tradition of bull-fighting.
After lunch (own expense), continue to Setenil de las Bodegas, a picturesque town built on and around the mountains. Uncover the town’s troglodyte past as you stroll down Calle de las Cuevas de la Sombra and Calle de las Cuevas del Sol, stopping to peek into cave dwellings and admire the pretty white-painted buildings. Finally, pay a visit to the mountaintop medieval castle before setting out on the return journey to Cádiz.
Your tour ends with drop-off at your Cádiz hotel.
