Things to know

Redemption information

    • It is the responsibility of all visitors to be at the meeting point 10 - 15 minutes before departure. Guests arriving after departure cannot be accommodated, & missed tours or tickets cannot be refunded.

    Important: Names of all participant need to match their passport or ID card, and cannot be amended after booking.

    COLOSSEUM INFO
    • Large bags, backpacks, luggage, tripods, large umbrellas, and perfume bottles cannot be brought into the Colosseum nor the Vatican. There is no coat check or space on-site to leave your belongings.

    VATICAN INFO
    DRESS CODE: Entrance into any religious site requires a strict dress code. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. The Tour Guy will not be held responsible for refused entry due to unsuitable dress.

    At the Vatican there is a coat check, but no time to retrieve items from the entry of the museums so please avoid bringing big bags/items.

    IMPORTANT: During State visits or special religious events, there may be unexpected closings of different parts of the Vatican. We will do our best to inform you on time of possible closings. In the event that an area normally covered on the tour is closed, our guide will still provide the explanation and will show you an extra site or gallery to compensate for the closure.

    • On Wednesdays, the tour does not visit St. Peter's Basilica due to an Audience blessing being held there, we will cover other areas of the Vatican Museums in place of the Basilica instead.
    • We will be subject to a security check at the entrance to all sites. Depending on the volume of visitors, we may have a short wait in the security line.
    • Mandatory: Everyone is required to carry a copy of the identification page of their passports on all tours. A photo of the first page of your passport saved on your smartphone works as well.
    • This tour does not accommodate wheelchairs, strollers & baby carraiges.
    • Depending on the size of your group, headphones may be used for some tours.
