- Please note: this is a private tour. The list of sites is a menu of options—not a fixed itinerary—and it isn’t possible to visit all of them on a 3-hour tour. At the start, your tour expert will discuss your interests and plan a realistic route. You’ll see as many sites as time allows.
- most tours operate with a six-seat golf cart—four seats face forward (including the driver’s position) and two seats face backward.
- Hotel pickup is offered only in the city center. Please check the hotel list or contact us if you’re unsure. If no pickup location is selected, the tour departs from the Rolling Rome office at Piazza del Gesù 47.
- Please note: this is a sightseeing tour and does not include entry to ticketed sites such as the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Vatican Museums, or Pantheon. We’ll stop by these landmarks for exterior views and photos, but we will not go inside during the tour.
- The tour runs rain or shine. Our golf carts are equipped with rain covers for wet weather.
- For large groups, we can operate multiple golf carts—each with its own tour leader—and keep them coordinated and close together at each stop.
- No reconfirmation is required upon arrival. If you have any questions, please send us a message at the time of booking.
- All golf carts are street-legal and equipped with seat belts and side protection.
- We can accommodate a wheelchair for free only for bookings of up to three participants.
- For safety reasons, each golf cart can accommodate only one baby seat, which must be installed in the middle seat next to a parent.

Golf cart tour = Rome's greatest hits in one day
Five stars for this Rome golf cart tour. If you want to see a huge amount of the city in one day, this is the way to do it. There's no way we could have covered that much ground on foot. Our driver took us all over Rome, from Circus Maximus to the Colosseum and everywhere in between. It's a great way to get the lay of the land and figure out what you actually want to come back and explore in more depth. We had a small mechanical hiccup with the golf cart partway through, and it was handled quickly and professionally, didn't eat into our tour time at all. Lunch was a highlight on its own. Wherever they took us, it was the best cacio e pepe I had in all of Rome. If you're short on time in Rome and want a real overview of the city without wearing yourselves out walking, book this tour.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Perfect Way to Experience Rome – An Unforgettable Day with Eugene! Our seven-hour golf cart tour with Rolling Rome was absolutely one of the highlights of our trip to Italy! From start to finish, it was a perfect day, and our guide, Eugene, made the experience truly exceptional. Eugene took us to all of Rome’s major landmarks, but what made the tour so special were the hidden gems and off-the-beaten-path places we would have completely missed exploring on our own. We were able to experience so much of this incredible city without exhausting ourselves walking for miles. The golf cart was the perfect way to see Rome comfortably while still enjoying its beauty, history, and charm. The experience was made even better by the wonderful local stops along the way. We enjoyed a fabulous lunch at a family-owned restaurant and later stopped for delicious gelato at a family-owned gelato shop. These special touches made the day feel like we were experiencing Rome with a local friend rather than simply taking a sightseeing tour. Seven hours might sound like a long tour, but the day flew by! We saw and experienced so much more than we ever could have on our own, and we loved every minute of it. If you are visiting Rome, I cannot recommend Rolling Rome and Eugene highly enough! Whether it is your first visit or you have been to Rome before, this is an incredible way to experience the Eternal City. Be sure to book the seven-hour option—you will be so glad you did!

Julius was absolutely wonderful on this golf cart tour. He answered any questions we may have had about a site! This started off our Rome trip perfectly and helped us get our bearings around the city! Hands down better than 5 stars!
Rome at night spectacular
Highly recommend this way to see Rome at night. Easy to get around and always moving. Trip can be customized to your liking however we just went with what the guide Francesca recommended. She was a delight with such positive energy and happiness. The Trevi fountain in the evening is beautiful to see and the excursion came with tickets to get down to the front of the fountain. Thank you for a wonderful experience
Gulf cart tour of Rome
We were a group of ten, so we had two carts. Our guides, Gabriel and Suzanna, were terrific. They were both English speaking guides, and they took us to a number of locations that were off the beaten path. Very relaxing and nothing like the other more popular locations. Would definitely book another trip with them. A lot of fun, very knowledgeable and very personable. Highly recommend.
