Day 1: Arrival in the city of Covilhã and check-in at the Hotel

• After a first look at the fantastic landscape of Serra da Estrela, it’s time to get to know the accommodation unit of your stay for the days that follow. • Check into your hotel and get ready to start this unforgettable adventure, starting with dinner and overnight at the hotel . Day 2: Discovering Marialva, Trancoso and Linhares da Beira

• Start your journey with a visit to the Historic Village of Marialva, a revealing setting of one of the living relics of Portuguese ancestry! • Next, the Historic Village of Trancoso awaits you, an ancient land where, in the past, several important battles were fought in the formation of the Kingdom of Portugal. • After a good lunch in Trancoso, head to the Historical Village of Linhares da Beira, a medieval village from the 12th century.
Day 3: Tuk tuk ride through Covilhã and visit to Belmonte and Sortelha

• Discover the city of Covilhã , passing through the village of Peraboa and ending with a visit and tasting at the Cheese Museum, on a fun tuk tuk ride . • Visit Belmonte and enjoy the richness of Jewish cuisine with a kosher lunch. • Visit the Historic Village of Sortelha, one of the most beautiful and ancient Portuguese villages, practically unchanged to this day.
Day 4: Villages of Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo, Almeida and Castelo Mendo

• Discover the Historic Village of  Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo, a village where its inhabitants stood out for their courage and loyalty to the crown and which retains a great wealth of built heritage.  • Even before lunch, be surprised by the Historic Village of Almeida, the fortified village that from the air looks like a 12-pointed star. • After lunch, the Historical Village of Castelo Mendo awaits your visit, with its predominantly medieval characteristics and its secrets and myths.
Day 5: Penha Garcia, Monsanto, Idanha-a-Velha and Castelo Novo Route

• Take advantage of the visit to the Historical Villages to also discover Penha Garcia, a village a few kilometers from the border and with all the characteristic charm of Beira Baixa. • Explore Monsanto, the Most Portuguese Village in Portugal and a tourist icon in the region, with all its unique charm. Enjoy a lunch with traditional flavors. • Then leave for the Historic Village of Idanha-a-Velha and feel like stepping back millennia. This village preserves a remarkable set of ruins that stand in the space where an ancient Roman city was built.
Day 6: Farewell with a relaxing moment

Cancellations & Refunds

Flexible and Family-friendly Policy

In case the reservation is rescheduled to a later date, the amount already paid is guaranteed but also the rescheduling of the reservation will not have any additional cost.

In case of cancellations made up to 24 hours before the starting time of the Van Tour, a refund of 100% of the amount paid is guaranteed.

In case of no-show or cancellation made less than 24 hours before the starting time of the Van Tour, there will be no refund.

Your Tours Portugal will not be held responsible for speculative, false or fraudulent travel reservations made by the customer, for faults in the execution of the agreement attributable to the customer, for faults attributable to a third party not involved in the supply of the planned services, for faults that are unforeseeable and unavoidable and for situations due to force majeure.
